Great school in Casares town surrounded by nature and caring teachers. This is one of the very few schools that also have first and second of the ESO program so your kids can stay here until they are around 14 years old instead of 12 years old as most schools of primary.

Staff is kind and nice and we are happy with all the teachers we engaged with. They truly make an effort to improve the learning of the kids. Marta, the director is awesome as well. Parents are very involved in the classes and the number of students per class is not too large.

They offer cafeteria services after school and also provide bus service for free from the costa to the town up the hill. They also offer a lot of extra curriculum activities. School has support classes in the evening twice a week for those kids that need some extra help and also evening classes for Spanish for foreigners for those students who still don’t know the language or need improvement in Spanish.

They have events on solidarity, women rights and equality which for us was a plus. The students are a very good mix of local residents and costa residents with many nationalities in each classroom.

There are a few things I would improve in the school but those are really up to the Junta.

If you want your kids to learn in a small set up where everybody knows everybody and easy access to communication with the staff and teachers, this might be a good match for you.
