We both are new to Spain, and Maria and her school came highly recommended to us.
We learn on line as we live over an hour away from Torrox.
María is an amazing teacher, she is very patient, and makes to sessions fun and interactive.
She teaches as a pace we can understand, the sessions are fun.
We have text books too, so the course is structured.
We have 2 sessions a week and very much look forward to them.
We highly recommend Maria and her language school.

I was a student at the Academia de Idiomas Torrox for 3 weeks in November 2022. I had both private lessons and class lessons - to learn as much as possible. It was very inspiring and educational! The teachers were so skilled and nice, I would especially like to highlight Maria - who easily made me understand the grammar that I have struggled with for a long time. It was educational and fun in the class with students from different countries and different stories. Sometimes we had a coffee after the class - and spoke more Spanish. Torrox is a quiet little village, very nice to be in. Filling the vacation with useful content - like improving my Spanish - was very smart. I met many new people and learned an incredible amount of Spanish in 3 weeks. Thanks to the teachers and the teaching program at the school, which was fantastically good and adapted exactly to my needs. The teachers were also very flexible on time. I have already booked another trip to Academia de Idiomas Torrox

We came to Spain to live and therefore it’s really important to learn the language. There are lots of people offering a quick fix solutions but unfortunately learning to how to ask for a coffee or a beer will not get you very far. This school offers structured or bespoke courses that cover everything you need to know about the language.

The classes are taught at a pace that suits everyone and in an environment where you feel safe and comfortable to be able to say that you need help. The teachers are patient, understanding and share information about local foods, traditions, fiestas and more.

If you want to learn Spanish and are prepared to commit to more than a quick fix then this is the place.
